Pleasant Bayou's Consignments to the Colorado Boer Classic

Lot #1
#985  Optimus Prime over a Nemo daughter

This 88% doe is a complete package.  She has plenty of length and eye appeal to go with her muscling.  A show-quality offering with the ability to produce winning wether.
Lot #2
#987  Triple Play over the full sister to Optimus Prime.

This fullblood doe is a full sister to #988.  Superior genetics are expressed in this model.  Another foundation doe for anyone interested in putting the "Meat" back into meat goat.
Lot #3
#991  Optimus Prime over a Marge daughter
Another massive fullblood doe from the Marge line.  A beautiful head and neck complete the package.  I think we're beginning to see a trend here.  Our herd has a lot of Marge.  Shouldn't yours?
Lot #9
#9100  Optimus Prime over Marge

Every year Marge produces our most massive kids.  This year was no exception.  In addition to her mass, this fullblood doe has a beautiful neck attachment and Roman nose.  The past two sales have had Marge kids as our high-selling lot.  This doe beats them both.
Lot #10
#9118  Triple Play over a Renoir daughter

Perhaps our best offering.  This doe has it all - muscle, bone and style.  Her pedigree goes back to some of the best goats in the industry.  If we didn't already have a sister, this girl wouldn't be in the sale.
Lot #11
#988  Triple Play over the full sister to Optimus Prime

This fullblood represents the best of our genetics.  Optimus's sister is a gorgeous doe.  Note the elegant lines that make this a feminine powerhouse.  Another true foundation doe.
Lot #16
#9124  Triple Play over a Bingo granddaughter.

Another heavy fullblood doe with an elegant neck.  Her brother was our top buck from the 2009 kid crop.  Great genotype and phenotype.  She could hold her own in a competitive market class - imagine what her wethers will do.
Lot #17
#997  Optimus over a Farmer doe

2010 has been a great year for our wethers.  The first six reports that we have gotten back so far are all class winners, with two Reserve Grands and one Overall Grand.  This doe's brother was our best wether to date.  Look at her length, top and hip.  Not many animals can exhibit all of those traits and maintain their structure.  This girl is ready to be in a competitive program or on the show circuit.
Lot #18
#995  Triple Play over a PBF foundation doe

While this doe is exceptionally long, it is her width that will impress you the most.  Her massive barrel and up-fronted stance will fit well into your 2011 wether plans.
Lot #23
#9109 Optimus Prime over a Nemo doe

This is a 75% doe out of our #1 percentage doe producer.  She traces her lines back to a competitive Nubian program.  The result is a meat wagon with superior milk production, udder attachment, and mothering instincts.  A true foundation doe.
Lot #24
#009  Triple Play over Optimus Prime / Renoir

This young fullblood is one of the best of our 2010 spring crop.  Expect her to be like #9118.  An excellent prospect.
Lot #25
#002  Triple Play over a Linus daughter

This 88% spring kid has length and width to go with her flashy black head.  We have kept these Angora-cross lines for quite some time as they produce our thickest wethers every year.  Only the second one we have ever offered for sale for a reason.  If you are looking for a wether to compete in the low to mid-80s, this is the doe for you.

Lot #30
#007  Triple Play over a Rocky doe

This 88% spring kid is beginning to show a resemblance to her grandfather Rocky.  Three quarters of this girl goes back to the Farmer Stock Exchange.  Why drive to Texas when you can get the quality here?
Lot #31
#013  Triple Play over an Optimus Prime doe

If you want to know what she'll grow up to be this winter, take a look at #997.  The lines are the same.  A future wether-producer in the making.
